34.5 week recap!!
Weeks: 34 weeks 4 days
Weight gain: 20-20.5 lbs No significant weight gain since 29 weeks. This is kinda odd b/c with Nic I never stopped gaining. I think I've been so busy that I'm not eating 6-7 times a day. I think I'm only eating about 5 times.
Name progress: The name is decided and I'll reveal with the baby shower post since his name was plastered everywhere!!
Exercise: 1 times this week. The one walk this week was just with Pebbles. It was nice to have a relaxing walk just her and me. But again I was achy for 2 days...boo.
Pregnancy Complaints: The braxton hicks as not as bad as 2 weeks ago but they are still there and I've noticed I get one around 6:41am every morning. How random. LOL Leg cramps were better too but I still had one or two nights where the cramps woke me up. I'm starting to get more and more achy in my pelvic bone especially after a lot of walking or turning in bed. It sucks!
Other news: I had my work baby shower last week and it was AMAZING. My friend Cassandra planned it all out and it was beautiful. The decorations were so pretty, my co-workers were really generous, and everyone had a really fun time. I will blog some of those pics later. So after the baby shower I was able to sort and make a list of the things I needed for the baby and I think I am covered for at least the 6 months! Did I mention my co-workers were very generous!?
This was the first week in about a month where I took a bare belly shot. I'm getting pretty big but surprisingly, I'm still pretty comfortable.
Until next week!

Maternity Pics by N@
The maternity pics of Nicolas' pregnancy were taken by my dad while we were on Christmas vacation (Dec. 2008). Click here for that blog post. This time life is crazier and we weren't able to get them done while we were in Miami so I took it into my own hands. LOL. I set up the camera, enlisted Leo as my photographer and this was the outcome. He didn't get my vision for all the pictures but they turned out better than expected.
I'm 99.9% sure that this is my last pregnancy so I want to make sure it is well documented so that I can go back and reminisce all the ups and downs.
Here are my favorites but you can click here for the rest of them.
33.5 weeks pregnant
Beautiful oak tree by the lake
Nic's pouty face

Thanks Gordis for putting up with me and taking your afternoon to take pics of me!!
Here is a very silly one of Leo. I could not stop laughing!!

33 weeks!
Stats for 33 weeks!
Weeks: 33 weeks 4 days
Weight gain: 19-20 lbs (no weight gain since week 29)
Name progress: No change to the baby name. We are happy with the decision, everyone except for Nicolas.
Exercise: 2 times this week. On Saturday I felt very achy after the walk and it lasted all day. It sucks b/c I look forward to my walks. :(
Pregnancy Complaints: The braxton hicks have eased up in the last week. Still noticeable but not as uncomfortable. Maybe I'm just getting used to them. The major pregnancy complaint for the week is leg cramps again. For some reason they are back and they wake me up in the middle of the night. Also, this week the baby had a very quite week and I was kinda worried during the weekdays but he started jiggling a lot more this weekend.
Other news: I sorted and washed all the newborn and 0-3 month baby clothes for the little guy! Some of the clothes are so tiny!! I can't believe there is going to be a little person in those little pieces very soon. I enlisted Leo to try to take some maternity pics this weekend and I think they came out pretty good. I set up the camera and he tried to capture my vision. It is always slightly frustrating but they came out better than I expected. (I'll do a post all them later).
Until next week!!

31 & 32 weeks recap...less than 2 months to go
What a busy week. Here is the short version of the story.
I didn't blog for the 31st week but I did get a picture while on in Miami for T's Baby Shower! Here are some of the stats for week 32.
Weeks: 32 weeks 4 days
Weight gain: 19-20 lbs (no weight gain since week 29)
Name progress: We have a name! It was my favorite name and Leo's favorite name will be used for a middle name. Nic has decided that he doesn't like either of the name we picked out so he is calling him Simba.
Exercise: Averaging 1 time a week but lack of time and exhaustion win.
Pregnancy Complaints: I've been having more and more braxton hicks contractions where my belly gets so hard that it is pretty uncomfortable. They have been getting more noticeable lately and they happen about 4-5 times a day. I don't remember feeling them this early with Nicolas. I've also been feeling really sleepy while driving. I feel like I'm about to pass out on my commute. I need to get to bed earlier to try to curb the exhaustion. We'll see if this week is better.
Other news: The nursery/guest bedroom is pretty much set up. All we need is a few decorative pieces!! I was hoping to get some of Nic's old clothes washed and put away but we didn't get to it this weekend. Hopefully this week or next weekend. There is still stuff to do but I'm feeling more ready for his arrival.
I had a 32 week appt on Thursday where the doctor measured the baby and looked at my amniotic fluid to make sure everything looked ok. Everything looked great. He looked so cramped in there but it was amazing. He was head down with his feet by his head and the estimated weight was 3lbs 14oz already!! By the measurements it seems that he will be about the same size as Nic when he is born. I can't believe the time is almost here.
Here is my 31 week pic at Miami Beach.

I want to take some pics of Nic's big boy room and the nursery this week so maybe I'll blog the rooms then.
Until next post!

New CARS!!
Leo has been wanting a car for years but we knew we would need one soon because with a new baby there was no way he could fit two car seats in his crappy Saturn.
So today we went window shopping at the Toyota dealership to get an idea of what car Leo would get. We checked out the car we originally went to see, the new Highlander, but quickly realized it was not going to work.
So after a toddler's 2 hour nap on mommy a total of 7 hours, and lots of negotiations, Leo and I walked out with a 2006 Sienna and a 2012 Camry.
Yeah for a new cars. Pebbles, Nicolas and baby #2 will be riding in style.
